UN Country Team Strengthening
Working in close collaboration with UNICEF and UNIFEM, Gender at Work is partnering with three UN Country teams – Albania, Morocco and Nepal – using an action-learning process. Our goal is to clarify how UN system partners collaborate to promote gender equality, and to consider ways of strengthening this process. We aim to help the UN better deliver on gender equality on the ground, as well as to identify how HQ support mechanisms might be strengthened to help country teams implement cohesive and effective women’s empowerment and gender equality. This is a pilot program (two years) meant to generate lessons for the UN system as a whole.
